An Iowa snowstorm delayed my trip to Florida by two days! Instead of flying to Orlando on a Wednesday I managed to get there on Friday. Mom and Dad picked me up and I spent a few days with them at their winter timeshare.

Judy, Jane and Jim arrived at St. Pete's on Saturday. They settled in at Coral Reef Resort and did the grocery shopping. On Sunday mom and dad took me to St. Pete's Beach where I spent the week with them. We talked mom and dad into packing a bag and staying with us overnight to enjoy time together and watch the Super Bowl. My brother Bob and Lori flew in from a quick trip to Iowa to see their new grandson and they joined us for a couple of hours on Sunday. Family time in Florida!

The week: rest, relaxation, reading, walking the beach, sunning at the pool, hot tubbing, cooking in or eating out, evening games of Farkle, Dutch Blitz, Up the River Down the River, and outings to John's Pass and The Pier of St Pete.
