A Day at the Family Farm

The Bauer farm was a big hit with Landon and Owen on a beautiful fall day. Melissa and the boys picked me up and we headed to the farm to ride the machines!

Colorado

Next stop - Colorado Springs. We landed home for about two hours and started our drive to Colorado. First night we stopped in Omaha and then finished the trip the next day. Before Don reports to the Olympic Training Center for a mini camp with his USA Team we are spending 3 days/nights in Cascade in the mountains. We are staying at the Rocky Mountain Lodge.

This is NOT where we are staying!

This is our lodge!

The three course breakfast was yummy!

Jeep Tour on the first day.

Don with "Curly" our jeep driver.

The road!  Hairpin curves, washboard bumps, rocky, and then snow!

We were up 10,000 feet!  Beautiful.

We headed to Denver for several days/nights after Don finished with his USA Team mini-camp. On the way we stopped at the Air Force Academy.

We stayed at the historic Brown Palace in a beautiful corner room suite!
