December 21-29, 2021
Hooray, another family Christmas in Breckenridge, Colorado. Previous times were in 2017 and 2019. We reserved our house through Vrbo over a year ago and finally it's time for the family vacation.
Don and I met in Denver (he was on a work road trip) and Brent and family flew in from Indianapolis on Tuesday, December 21. We picked up the Sam's food order on the way and stopped for more groceries in Frisco. Check in was at 4:00 and Brent's family arrived at the house before us. The house was perfect - four bedroom, each with it's own bathroom. Large, open space for the living, dining and kitchen. Downstairs was a "game" room that the boys enjoyed. The Kahlers flew into Denver and joined us on Wednesday, December 22. Let the FUN begin!!
Due to lack of snow before we arrived, our dogsledding activity was canceled. So we walked to Carter Hill for some sledding.
Christmas Day! Relaxing morning and a catered dinner before a canceled Extreme Sledding, so more outside football and games inside.
The Kids and Grandkids went skiing two or three days. The five boys had a private lesson together which was great fun for them. The other days they skied with their parents. Our house was well equipped for all of the wet winter clothing!
