Don needed to be in NYC Saturday and Sunday for a coaching academy for MAMBA (Nike). We headed out Wednesday to give ourselves two days of fun. It's winter so we decided to do museums, shows and enjoy eating out.
Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust
We found out once we arrived that most of the museum is closed due to renovations. We did enjoy one floor and especially the virtual reality visit to a camp.
New York Public Library
Many historians consider this to be the finest Beaux Arts Building in the US. It was completed in 1911 and is guided by famous stone lions.

St. Mary's at Times Square
We stopped in as we walked by this beautiful church.
Hamilton! We saw it in NYC when it first came out, but we decided to see it again. It did not disappoint.
Friday - Pizza on Bleeker St. and then The Museum of the American Gangster (at Don's request). We enjoyed a fun evening at the Comedy Cellar.

One of the best small museums in the nations in the home of one of the super-rich and famous, Henry Clay Frick. On his death he bequeathed his enormous art collection and the colannaded neoclassical mansion to be made into a public museum. Pictures were not allowed inside except for the court yard.
