Las Vegas

We spent Sunday through Friday, August 9 - 14 on a trip to Las Vegas.  Combining basketball duties and vacation is always a good way to go!  Don spoke at the USA Basketball's Coaching Academy to promote the new youth curriculum movement that they are gearing up for.  The USA senior men's team had their mini camp and game there also so Don got to go to coaching meetings and practices with them.  I enjoyed relaxing at the pools at our hotel - the Wynn.  We attended three shows - Cirque du Soleil's Love, the Wynn's Showstoppers, and my favorite Cirque du Soleil's O.  Don especially enjoys the eating out!

We had dinner with Miles and Kristi Simon before the USA
basketball game Thursday night.  Miles is one of Don's assistant
coaches for the U16/U17 USA team.  

Time to head home and get ready for our next adventure!
