Moving to the Loft - Downtown Colorado Springs

The USA Basketball office moved downtown Colorado Springs and that started us thinking that we should move!  We looked at three lofts downtown and really liked the one in the historic Daniel's building.  The exposed brick wall, original hardwood floors, brand new kitchen and island, built in wall of bookshelves, fireplace, and 1385 square feet of living space impressed us.  After some negotiations we became home owners in Colorado. Our new address is 108 N Tejon, Unit D.   Don's office is 2 1/2 blocks down the street.

Moving day was Thursday, April 5th.  Hooray for the movers who hauled everything down from our third floor apartment (no elevator) and moved it to the second floor loft.  The building was a furniture store so a large elevator made moving in easier.

Final Four in San Antonio

First stop was Atlanta for the McDonald's All American Game.  We stayed at the Glenn, an autograph collection Marriott hotel in downtown Atlanta.  The weather was chilly.  We enjoyed dinner out with Sharman (U16 asst. coach in 2015) and his wife Jem.  BJ Johnson (past USAB team director) Monday evening.  Tuesday evening we attended the McDonald's All American game social and got to connect with three of our U16/U17 players.

Wednesday we flew to San Antonio for the Final Four and all the festivities.  One of which was Don coaching the "Next Generation" team of 2019 graduates from around the country.

Don got tickets for Dean and Cindy for the games on Saturday.  It was fun to see them.  They came back to SA on Sunday evening and we had Mexican together on the River Walk.
