A Summer Week

Celebrating Father's Day at Judy's house.

Basketball Camp
Landon and Scott were at church camp so I got to have Owen for Monday.  Prairie camp in the morning, lunch at McDonald's in IC, then basketball camp with papa at City High.  Tuesday Melissa brought him to IC for another camp afternoon.  Wednesday Landon was home and came to IC for bb camp also.  Fun times.

And a quick day trip to Brownsburg!  Don was speaking at a camp so I rode along and stayed overnight at Brent & April's and spent the day playing with three of my favorite boys.

TEAM USA in Argentina

Don headed to Colorado Springs on May 27 to start training camp with 32 of the best 15 & 16 year old players from our country to put together the USA Junior National Team to compete at FIBA Americas in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.  June 3 I flew out to join him and the team in advance of the June 6 flight to Argentina.

OFF TO ARGENTINA
June 6 we board the bus to the Denver airport.  We have three legs of flights:  Denver to Houston, Houston to Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires to Bahia Blanca.  The trip took a total of 28 hours!

Birthday Weekend in Indy - Cade & Brent

Landon and Owen were in our care from Thursday until Monday evening while Melissa and Scott went to Napa Valley for some continuing ed for Melissa.  We picked the boys up from Kids Inc after school and headed to piano lessons for Landon and then soccer practice for Owen.  They stayed overnight at our house and early Friday morning we took off for Chicago for the day.  Yes, the boys skipped school!  Don spoke at a basketball clinic so he dropped us off at the Shedd Aquarium for the afternoon.

From Chicago we headed to Brownsburg, Indiana to spend the weekend with Brent, April, Cade, Kasen, and Cam!  What a surprise when Cade and Kasen woke up Saturday morning to find us at their house.  Happy 7th birthday, Cade!!
