Sleep-Over at Nana and Papa's

Finally we got to have Landon and Owen come for a sleep-over at our new house.  Now it feels like home.  Melissa brought the boys to our house on a snowy Sunday afternoon.  They don't have school at Prairie on Monday so it was a great time to spend the night with us.

Hanging out before Melissa heads home.

Search for Santa and other items kept Owen busy.

Papa and Landon watching NFL football on tv.
Landon has taken a big interest lately.

Ready to play some football in the living room.

Football on the big screen.
Owen being our silly Owen!

Time to select the movie for movie night.

Bring on the popcorn!

Snuggling at bedtime with a story.

Monday fun!

Eli the Elf came for the night also.
He was hiding up in the dining room light Monday morning.

Another big game of football in the living room!

We needed some outside time to use up extra energy even
though it was very cold.

Sledding in our back yard on the antique sled.

Landon left a snow angel in our back yard.

After lunch we went swimming at the North Liberty Rec Center.

Bauer Christmas

The Saturday after Thanksgiving has become the date for the Bauer Christmas.  This year we headed to the West Chester School.  It was a perfect place to have the 41 family members congregate for food, fellowship, and play time in the gym.  Smoked turkey and pork loin by Bob Hough highlighted the meal with potatoes, noodles, dressing, salads, and the traditional ice cream roll for dessert.

After dinner the gym was the place to be for some kickball.

Thanksgiving

Don and I hosted a small group at our new home on Thanksgiving Day.  Mom, dad, Judy and Jim joined us.  Jim cooked the turkey - thanks!  We had a lovely day eating, watching football and playing sequence.

3 Special Boys

Cam is turning 3 months old already and we haven't been to Indy to see him for over 2 months.  It is TIME for a trip to see 3 of our special little boys!  We took a 5 AM flight Friday morning, November 15.  Don starts basketball practice Monday morning so he will fly home Sunday, but I will stay on to play until Wednesday.

Lots of time with Kasen while Cade is in school.

Cade after a good day of kindergarten.
Dressed and ready for the Pacers game.

Brent, Don and Cade ready to go to the Indianapolis Pacers basketball game!
Pacers won and Cade had a great time.

Movie night for the rest of us at home.
