The JOYS of BOYS! part 1
We have 4 little grandsons and we LOVE the joys that come with these little boys! We were delighted to spend the weekend in Indy to see the Showalter boys! They came to the hotel to swim and then I spent time at their house while Don was in meetings. So much fun!

Landon Turns 6!
Landon - our sweet first grandson is now 6 years old. I would love to slow time down because those six years went so fast. How can he possibly be in kindergarten already? Where did that time go?
Legos was the theme and pizza was his choice for lunch.
Little brother, Owen gets a few presents too.
Birthday cupcakes!
We played Lego Bingo with lego pieces and lego prizes, of course.
Landon tackled one of his new Legos - all 458 pieces! He is quite an expert with these.
Six years of fun! We love you Landon!

FLORIDA in January!
January 9th and I'm off to Florida! Don will remain in Iowa to coach his basketball team.
WEEK ONE - ENGLEWOOD WITH BOB AND LORI
Bob and Lori picked me up at the Fort Myers airport around 10 PM and we headed to Englewood where they rent a house for the winter.
Picking grapefruit and lemons.
Supper at Cafe 776 - Yummy seafood!

Bob fixed prime rib one night.
We purchased lobsters, they cooked them for us, and we brought them back to the house. Bob and I enjoyed them! No lobster for Lori - she ordered a fish sandwich from Cafe 776.
Week Two - St. Pete's Beach with Judy
I will spend the second week with my sister Judy! Thanks to Bob and Lori we get to St. Pete's Beach, get groceries and pick up Judy at the airport Saturday night. Judy and I are staying at Coral Reef for the week.

Week 3 with my dad and mom
Bob and Lori (thanks again) transported me to Orlando so I could spend time with mom and dad. On the way we stopped at Plant City for the famous strawberry shortcake. It was YUMMY!

Walking through Downtown Disney to see Lego Land
Time to head home to Iowa! Florida in January was wonderful!
